Vanquish Yachts in the Netherlands has delivered its largest all-aluminium powerboat to date to a client in Ibiza. The 16.56-metre VQ54 combines state-of-the-art technology, impressive design and 45 knots of speed with broad options for customization. The delighted owner of this launch model has added a tender bay to his VQ54, which has swiftly become a popular sight in and around the Balearics. Meanwhile, a second VQ54 for a client in Barbados will be on display at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale boat show, where Vanquish will also showcase a VQ43 Mk2, a VQ48 and the revolutionary VQ16 waterscooter.
The specially developed garage on the launch model of the VQ54 houses a fast Williams 285 Turbojet tender. The door of the garage opens aft to facilitate easy departure and docking, while a powerful winch ensures easy handling. Trips to the beach club are a breeze, as is exploring shallow bays and inlets. In addition, there is also space on the VQ54 for diving equipment and other water toys.
